Early Life

The current article makes no mention of his mother. Can no one find a source with her name? It begins: "Hamilton's stepfathers were Carleton Hunt and Jesse Spalding; his stepmother was June Howard, with whom Hamilton said he had repeated sexual relations when he was age 12, shortly after she married his father, and again later when he was an adult." His mini-biography on IMDb says his mother was "gregarious Southern belle beauty Anne Lucille (Stevens) Potter Hamilton Hunt Spaulding". Surely, Jesse Spalding, with whom Hamilton has said he had an affair when he was 12, was his stepmother, not his stepfather, as quoted in this article?

I'm George's younger brother by 13 months. The article says that George is the youngest son of George "Spike" Hamilton. That is incorrect. He is the oldest son. I am Dad's youngest son. At the bottom of the paragraph the article goes on to contradict itself by saying that "George has a younger brother, David Hamilton" which is, of course, correct as I just mentioned. Also, I see in the article it says that he started his career in 1952 in "Lone Star". That's wrong. He was never in "Lone Star". Can somebody clarify the language in the following line. It doesn't scan at all.

Hamilton is also recently noted for his appearances in Ritz Cracker and Wheat Thins Toasted Chips commercials and ads with Stacy Keibler, who in Dancing with the Stars, was his off-screen "sweetheart", with the tag line "I know toasted".

another film

I saw George Hamilton filming a movie in Old Tuscon, Az around July 1966 with Max Baer and Ingrid Stevens, I believe it was called The Long Trail Home, or The Long Ride Home, and I have never been able to find it for viewing.

Why is it that in some actor's articles, their filmographies are listed chronologically, and yet in others they're listed in reverse chronological order? For the purpose of uniformity, shouldn't we fix one or the other? Trigear 04:05, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

There is no mention of him in the Army around 1962. My father was his 1st Sgt. and drinking buddy. This was in Germany at a post called Wilflecken. He was company clerk. Once when he and my father, John E. The Well: Not the right George Hamilton

I deleted this portion:

George appeared in the 1951 film The Well, directed by Leo Popkin and Russell Rouse. (Doing further research will show that this film is not listed among his achievements on other sites.)

The debate within the article is not appropriate, but examining the link makes it clear that it was another actor named George Hamilton, who was active in small roles between 1948 and 1953, that was in The Well. So it should be deleted in any event. Fenevad (talk) 20:34, 28 March 2021 (UTC)
